About Us

Enviro-Assist was established in 2005 by Randy Gregory after over 25 years of working in the Environmental Public Health sector.  He founded Enviro-Assist to provide top quality septic system and water well consulting services, with the main goal to assist homeowners and home buyers. Through his career, Randy has made noteworthy contributions to septic system research and environmental health field.  In 2024, he had decided to step back from inspections and his longtime employee, Maxwell Darr REHS/RS, has taken on continuing the operations at Enviro-Assist and maintaining the highest standard of septic and well evaluations.

Maxwell is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist/Registered Sanitarian (REHS/RS) and has been performing well and septic inspections since 2013.  He has certifications from multiple local County Health Departments for inspections and enjoys being able to assist clients with understanding their systems.

Ian, a senior inspector, has been performing well and septic inspections with Enviro-Assist for over 7 years and is certified in Washtenaw and Wayne counties TOS programs.  His experience helps clients understand the water supply and wastewater systems that they are purchasing.

Maggie, our office assistant, is often the first point of contact that clients have.  She provides clients with information to help them understand the process of the inspections, especially with ones with County/Township Programs, and the benefits of hiring Enviro-Assist for their well and septic inspections.

Enviro-Assist has the knowledge and experience to find and evaluated systems of styles.
